Bio

Alex Avicena is an accomplished music producer, mixing and mastering engineer, and dedicated piano and flute instructor, renowned for his seamless fusion of classical artistry and contemporary innovation. With over 16 years of experience in music education, performance, and production, he has cultivated a multifaceted career marked by technical precision and creative vision.

His musical journey began at age six with rigorous piano training, laying the groundwork for a lifelong passion. By 13, he earned acceptance into São Paulo’s prestigious EMESP Tom Jobim, where he honed his classical flute skills and later transitioned to the institution’s popular music program. Expanding his expertise, Alex studied guitar and pursued a technical music degree at Souza Lima Conservatory, solidifying his versatility across instruments and genres.

In 2018, Alex was awarded a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he immersed himself in music production, composition, and audio engineering. Graduating with top honors, he continued refining his craft, specializing in mixing, mastering, and production. His academic journey culminated in a degree in Music Production from Belas Artes, paired with a Berklee Certificate in Mixing.

Professionally, Alex also serves as a senior producer at Satélite Áudio, a globally recognized audio production studio, where he crafts evocative soundtracks for international brands such as Nike, Coca-Cola, LIDL, Pepsi, and Oreo. His work has propelled award-winning campaigns, including a CLIO Award victory and a Latin Grammy nomination, underscoring his ability to elevate storytelling through sound.

Beyond the studio, Alex’s performance pedigree includes collaborations with renowned orchestras at Sala São Paulo, one of Latin America’s most acoustically distinguished venues. Equally passionate about education, he mentors aspiring musicians across the globe, blending classical discipline with modern techniques to inspire the next generation of artists.
