That was SO MUCH FUN! Not just singing with our group, but experiencing all the other performers as well. I felt like each performer was fully invested in conveying their love of the pieces they were performing to the audience (and they DID!!!). That is a skill that not every "naturally" talented performer possesses.
You have such a persuasive way of making it clear from the get-go that this is about having fun through sharing joy in music that, how could it have been anything else. My husband even commented on how incredible it was to see performers transform from being nervous and shy at first to gaining confidence as they moved closer to their mics and became more expressive as they continued.
Can't wait for our next songs (and my first lesson with Shari).
Thanks SO MUCH for such a warm, fun, relaxing yet exciting first time experience with Adult Lounge Night. You have a way of making people believe in themselves in such a way that the seemingly impossible becomes quite doable. That is a rare and oh-so-valuable gift. - Better World Music has started a beginning girl group that meets every Monday at 4:00-5:00pm .
- The goal: learn to sing and hold a harmony, starting with 2 parts, then moving forward into 3 or more.
- A variety of styles will eventually be covered, but we are starting with familiar songs, i.e. "Stitches" by Shawn Mendez.
