One Parent on having to leave Better World Music: On Apr 22, 2019, at 2:19 PM, JODY L K <xxxxxx@comcast.net> wrote: Hi Janice and Kathy, How can I express my gratitude for what you have done to help Meredith progress in her vocal abilities? Anything I can think of, seems so inadequate. I came to you a couple of years ago with a child who had a newly discovered 'big' soprano voice. We needed you to help her learn to use it, and more importantly to learn how to keep from damaging her 'instrument' from overuse or improper technique. You helped her with this and SO MUCH MORE. Janice, you have been such an important mentor, role model, and teacher for Meredith. What an AMAZING, INCREDIBLE opportunity it has been for her to learn from you! You've taught her so much - lessons that she will take with her as she continues her musical journey! And as a role model and mentor, you have given her lessons and motivations that no other teacher has ever been able to provide. You have made Meredith a better singer and a better musician, and your efforts will play a big part in the next stage of her musical education. I hope that we can stay in contact - we always enjoy seeing you perform, Janice, so keep us on your mailing list so we know where we can see you! And we will definitely keep you updated on where Meredith is and what she is doing! Again, thank you so much for all you have done for Meredith. Better World really is a unique musical school, and we are truly blessed to have had 2 years of instruction from you, Janice! Warmest regards, Jody K April 7, 2019 at 11:09:13 PM PDT Dear Ms. Kathy, How are you? I am glad to bring my two kids Samuel and Grace to your music school for the past three weekends. They met their great teachers. My neighbor friend Lindsey's daughter Danica who is my daughter Grace's good friend as well also in your music school learning flute. Lindsey referred us to your school. My daughter Grace has learned piano for the past three years with a personal piano teacher. However, that teacher is not responsible and non-consistent as she always changes or cancels the classes with the last minute notice. It really discourages Grace's on-going learning piano. She almost wants to quit. Luckily, I don't give up and find your school to put her in. It is so lucky to have a good teacher who can find kids' talents and good for their interest. Hope Grace can improve her piano skills and catch up what she has wasted time and missed in the past three years with wrong piano teacher. Mr. Roland is one of the best teachers I can see. He offers three types of instruments to my son Samuel to check what is his real interest. This is Samuel's first time drum play class with Mr. Roland as the attached video. Mr. Roland asked me to send you this video to post on the website of the music school. He will teach Samuel piano as foundation and will keep stimulate his interest on drums if time allows. Sounds good strategy. Thanks for the flexibility. Looking forward to seeing you in the school one day. Best regards, Cherry Chen (Samuel and Grace's mom) Samuel with Drum instructor Roland
