Martin Delaney is a seasoned music technologist, educator, and producer with deep roots in modern audio production. As one of the UK’s first Ableton Certified Trainers, Martin has been using and teaching Ableton Live since its debut in 2001, alongside Logic Pro since 2006.
His extensive teaching background spans an exceptionally diverse range of students, from young beginners and university students to psychiatric patients, performing DJs, and professional composers.
Beyond teaching, Martin is a prolific music technology journalist with over one million published words across industry reviews, technical tutorials, and artist interviews. In 2014, he expanded into hardware design, creating the acclaimed Kenton Killamix Mini MIDI controller.
As an active artist, Martin produces ambient electronic music—leveraging Logic Pro, Ableton Live, and cutting-edge virtual reality environments like PatchXR—and shares VR-based music creation techniques through his project VR Music Planet. He also serves as the producer and bassist for the folk horror music duo The Witch Of Brussels.
