Oriah is an exceptional voice instructor whose unique combination of skills and deep understanding of the vocal mechanism makes her a transformative coach. She is not only a highly accomplished singer-songwriter who actively performs on stage, but also a practicing speech therapist and an advanced vocal coach. This rare blend of expertise means she brings a real-world understanding of the performance environment—including the needs, pressures, and demands placed on today's singers—while simultaneously possessing the clinical knowledge to ensure vocal health and longevity.

Her technical foundation is robust, evidenced by her high certification through the Modern Vocal Technique (MVT) institute, where she has achieved a deep, specialized understanding of the renowned SLS/Mix vocal technique. This allows her to meticulously guide students in developing a healthy, balanced sound across their range. Furthermore, as she continues her advanced training in Vocology (the science and practice of voice habilitation), Oriah approaches the voice as a complete, holistic, and expressive system. This ensures that her coaching focuses on building an authentic technique that students can trust, giving them greater confidence and more freedom with their instrument, rather than just forcing a rigid style.
