Roman Baker - Sax & piano instructor

Credentials:

• CSU Easy Bay - In pursuit of Bachelors in Jazz Studies

• Plays harmony for Jazz standards like Confirmation, Autumn, and Jazz blues

•  Studied with Cathy Ettle, a multi-instrumentalist whose main instrument is Sax

• Studied at UOP and University of Michigan

• Currently studying jazz with Dann Zinn, a former teacher

Roman had opportunity to give Saxophone lessons with attending San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton California.   He realized then that teaching was a very fun job and something that he wanted to continue.  ​
       He loves sharing his knowledge and passion of music with students.   As a recital hall monitor at CSU he has been involved in helping musicians make successful recitals and has also been involved in recording them.
