Ria performed the lead role "Forever" in Shrek this Spring.

She has been studying voice and piano with Better World Music School for 5 years.  She is 14 years old.

November 2015

Piano came easy for Huedang.  But Singing?  Her mom started her in vocal lessons in the hopes it would help "bring her out" from her shy, reserved personality. 

She started 2 years ago with the voice of a mouse.  All I can say now is:"Make Room X Factor and American Idol!"

Alexis singing "Home" - Wizard of Oz - December 12 2014

​When Alexis started, her voice was very good for the lower notes...but her high head voice was weak, breathy, and virtually unusable.   Anything above a B5 resulted in vocal strain.

She now sings freely and with power, every note in her range.  She just captured the lead role in a new musical production  of "Seussical."  Not bad for a 12 year old!
